Trump Reports $2.2 Billion in 2025 Income, Sparking Ethics Concerns

President Trump's personal income surged to $2.2 billion in 2025, according to a new federal financial disclosure, with $1.4 billion of that total traced to cryptocurrency ventures launched since he returned to the White House.

What the Disclosure Report Shows

The 927 page filing, submitted to the Office of Government Ethics, details a jump from the roughly $600 million in income Trump reported for 2024. Crypto related earnings now dominate the ledger: $635 million in royalties tied to Celebration Coins and more than $500 million from his World Liberty Financial venture. Trump branded merchandise, including Bibles and sneakers, added millions more. Overseas real estate contributed smaller but notable sums, $10.4 million from a property in the United Arab Emirates and $9 million from a Saudi Arabia development. The report discloses revenue rather than net profit, so the actual amount Trump personally pocketed remains unclear.

Ethics Experts Call It Unprecedented

Kathleen Clark, a law professor at Washington University who specializes in government ethics, did not mince words.
